My son James is disposing of his JAP Spec 1986 RX turbo. Body is rough as buggery so parting out will be his best option.
Motor has high 300 thousand on it features RS Liberty Turbo and big front mounted intercooler. Custom headers with big dump pipe off the Turbo. All managed by a Microtech Ecu . Was running just fine when retired around 6 years ago when it was my daily driver. Has sat in his garage ever since

5 Speed Jap AWD gearbox and LSD up the back and the brakes are earmarked for my Brumby at this stage together with the front seats.

There is a rear sway bar on it I had built thicker than the standard job which minimized understeer very nicely.

No pics but can try and get some posted for you. It's a bit awkward to get to being jammed in the garage but James is doing a clean up around it so we can get it out. Will see what we can do this weekend. Barry

Here is James comments on the Microtech

Microtech - $150? *, $200 with controller*

long as he knows it's not supported by microtech anymore - they no longer repair them or program them if it dies.

Update on RX Turbo

Anybody interested in complete car minus front seats and brakes can have it for $1200

That is Motor with RS Liberty Turbo Microtech ECU and big front mount Intercooler, Alloy radiator, 4" dump off Turbo into high flow cat (near new) then resonator and 3" pipe to rear straight thru muffler, Jap spec constant AWD gearbox and LSD rear end. Heavy duty clutch , Near new windscreen. and Misc things like modified re-valved struts front and rear with dropped spring plates sits the car around 30mm lower and upgraded (thicker) rear sway bar, Nardi steering wheel, Photos on this link http://imgur.com/a/k1xtY
