Highway Patrol

Post by AndrewT » Mon Oct 24, 2005 2:32 pm

I just arrived at a client's place, got pulled over on the way here by a special "Highway Patrol" police car on the way here.

They pulled me over cause of the rediculous negative camber on the rear of my L series :p
I really must whip the wheels off and try loosening and re-tightening those bolts to try and fix this.

They threatened me with a yellow sticker if I didnt get it fixed but didn't say a word about my 3" Lift kit :D

I think the camber is also a symptom of a stuffed bush on the suspension swing arm, so this may need replacement if the trick with the bolts doesn't work

Yeah I suspect you're right, there is some mad creaking noises comming from under there when I creep up kurbs in a certain way.
I'll be replacing every bush in the car pretty soon.

Im having trouble working out how this method actually changes anything.

Also... it says to tighten the bolts... am i right to assume u must loosen before pullling and tightening?
