Upgrade Step 3) MSD Ignition 6T (Same as 6AL only for track)

Put this in last weekend. Again, plug and play.

No noticeable increase in power. A bit more free revving once you get past 4000rpm. Better cold starts too.

Will report on economy once I fille it up and run through a tank.

I thought a MSD Blaster 2 Coil is enough of an upgrade...

Have you increased your timing/plug gap? Better Plugs/Leads?

no far from it, the coil is designed for the cdi..
plug gap of 1.25mm works well, tho more is possible - but can't see any reason to.
The leads are very important, the very much higher voltages breaks down the cheaper leads quite quickly..maybe 6months if that.

google magnecor - the best you can get IMHO.
them leads might be $, but then don't bother wasting $$ on expensive sparkplugs..standard ones are just great.

Yeah it was installed in the car pictured, but its not a turbo, just a clone :D
