Is that a water choke? ie a DGAV Weber?

Yep thats it. I've contemplated using the water line that shoots up at the bottom of the hitachi to run the water choke, then using the inlet for it on the manifold as the water return.

Then I ended up scoring a DGEV which I haven't fitted yet.

That looks like a neat little carb.
The coolant for the hitachi carb comes through the inlet manifold.
are you getting the coolant through the heater hoses?
Can you put a 14" wheel under the bonnet with that tiny air filter?
I would love to get rid of all that plumbing around my Suba motor.

I couldn't find any Webers for a reasonable price in the end, so I've tracked down a set of Dual Carbs! 8) Hanging for them!

Where in Melbourne are you?

*EDIT* Just had a look, you're the suburb next door! I'm gunna have to pop round sometime and have a chat! If you need a hand or someone to sit there and watch ya do it, let me know! Hehe
