F***!!!!!!!! great day, crap day.
(please excuse the angry mood/lang)
thanks to the local heat now im prolly gonna restore my subi back to normal, and just before the BBQ.
they followed me for 10 minutes in heavy traffic then pulled me over and stickered me. stupid f'n cops. i only just got the car 2 months ago and the lift kit in 3 weeks ago and now its most prob gonna have to be delifted. arrrrrrrgh they got me for wheels sticking out and not enough rubber on aftermarket pedal pads. i even played dumb to try and increase my chances ie so if i get some flares it'll be alright? and so what does a yellow sticker mean? but no the unkind pigs wouldnt have it any other way :( f***ers.
they didnt say anything about the engine or the 3" kit but i wonder how far that'll get overlooked at the pits (went ok last with last car).

and to make matters worse the comper is f'd too and i had to retype all of this. grrrrr

Dude, put some flares on it and try your luck, a whole lot better than de-lifting.

Oh man that is very unlucky!!
Personally I would definitely have a crack at passing it over the pits with the lift kit still installed.

If you can pass your old wagon, you can pass anything.

The pits in O'Conner is actually on Stockdale Rd, the licensing centre is on Stock Rd. :P

There's also the pits out in Welshpool too. Whack the flares on and take the car in. It doesn't really matter what the cops say, it all comes down to the pit inspection.

Bet it was the scoop that caught the cops eyes too.

Best thing is that they didn't sticker it for the lift.

yeh might try the welshpool one. o conner is a bit far for me. im buying flares tomorrow.

yeh i reckon they saw the scoop and and did the u'y and chased me-very slowly. i think they were dissapointed not to find anything interesting under the hood tho. they had a good look over the engine, but didnt say a word about it other than- its a bit dirty. they overlooked the huge pod, turbo, intercooler, random plastic everywhere and L series wiring-its all legal afterall. im not complaining. im still po tho.

I would defiantly say it’s in your best interests to take it over as quickly as you can just to get the feel for them and see what they will pick…. Id say just wak the flairs on and take it over… it’s clean and respectable and the quicker you get it over the less likely they are to look into a lot if you make out that the cops were giving you a hard time…

hey mate

for erasy flares bunnings sells black or green garden edging with metal wire through it this stuff folds any direction and never breaks. Used it on my patrol for flares and it only cost about $10 for enough to make all four.
