Ahoy from Perth,

My name is Daniel, I'm the brother of longstanding member, Tim_81coupe. I own a 1988 Subaru L-Series wagon, and with the help of my Brother and AndrewT, it has been fitted with a 2" BYB lift kit and 27" Nankang tyres. The engine is still stock, but I plan on putting a weber on the old ea82 and possibly an ej turbo conversion a few years down the track.

Here's some pictures of my beast:

And here's some pictures of Tim's coupe that we put to rest on the weekend:

Yep. thats the old HSV slaying EJ20G coupe. Never fear though, just like Celine Dion, it's heart will go on. There will be an even quicker Leone coupe in WA one day.

Daniel should be coming out on a 4WD trip soon, I think I'm more keen than he is about it though!

Welcome to the forums bro.

Welcome welcome. Can't wait to see you having fun getting that car dirty!

Pity you guys didn't move that trailer full of junk to give the poor old Coupe at least a little shelter under that tin roof. Ah well may she one day live again...Jap Wholesale have `06 WRX frontcut for $7000.....hehe.

Hello to another WA "we stalk any subie" club! Just kidding...

Welcome to the board Daniel, i'm sure your bro will give you a tour if he hasn't already done so.

Nice looking L too. Do those tyres scrub on the guards or do you have a hard suspension on it too? Would like to know as my car is yet to be lifted and yours is similar to how i want mine to look...

The poor coupe... still looked okay for another days fun with a bit of work...

Catch you round the forum

Thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome here, I'm studying for exams at the moment, but will be prowling around the boards soon. I am keen to get out on an offroading expedition, I'd love to see how my car can handle it.

Suspension is stock, I believe. The tyres scrubbed a bit when they were first fitted, but it was nothing that a hammer and screwdriver couldn't fix.

That's my brother!!

Suspension is stock too, stock springs and stock struts. I've got a spare set of Kings for the front just in case he has problems offroad.

Just gotta talk him into my welded 3.9 diff too :P

Im sure he will love the welded diff... untill we have to tow him out of the bush after he has snapped an axle. lol

Lets see if he can beat Tim and blow 2 bearing cups in a single outing
