Ben - Busted

Post by vincentvega » Sun Nov 12, 2006 8:35 pm

sorry mate couldnt help myself ;)

Michelle's car = H6 outback
work car = FWD v6 magna - must have been fun ;)

Ben + Michelle: Sorry Dane, it's Michelle - just back from rescuing Ben after he got "my" car stuck on his way to going fishing and he's having a shower, he got a bit dirty ;)

Ben + Michelle: I wasn't impressed, but what do you do...

.....

Danegerous: where did he get stuck? on the beach?

Ben + Michelle: No, on a track out in the bush behind a footy ground, there was a big hole full of sand/water/mud with a hill just after it, he got stuck in the hole....

Danegerous: haha

Danegerous: how did you get him unstuck

Ben + Michelle: He called me at home and I drove his work car there with a spade, snatch strap, etc and he towed it out with me steering, it, took about 3 gos to get out and it has scratches on it apparently - I don't want to look yet :(

Yes, I know I need a lift kit, mudders, big springs, reduced overhang....

Really it was the overhang that got me, rear right corner was on the ground, front left was too.....

Rear right corner is scratched up bad.....

rang sunspares today, $400 for a new bumper - anyone had any good experiences with plastic welder/spray painter type repair guys?

It would have been nice to have asked for the camera along with the spade and snatch strap, but I thought it might have been thrown at my head when she got there....
