I know where there's an original owner one still in stock immaculate condition. Its down the road from a workmate so I get him to keep an eye for if it ever comes up for sale. Though apparently he's a bit of a hoarder, so we'll have to wait till he dies...:rolleyes:

hehe there is a GLF back in my home town in Victoria that a little old lady drives...it is IMMACULATE, I am just waiting for word on that being for sale one day...

I wouldn't mind one of those either in mint condition. I got my Leone from a little old lady unfortunately I don't think she was a good driver.

Yeah that's the problem, sometimes they look fine because it was always garaged and only driven to the supermarket once a week, but you have no idea how it was driven, and what the servicing was like....

Still when your looking at something this age it's cheaper to fix mechanical things than to try and straighten a body, respray, redo interior etc!!

I still long for the day I find the perfect GLF. Mind you I found Australia's best RS and it nearly killed me!!!!
