It's a little electric Subaru...
as much as you'd like to think Subaru was synonomous with performance, it appears to be a japan-only production vehicle (JDM), and since japan can do pretty much whatever they'd like, they do that. As a matter of fact, Japanese manufacturers make a hell of a lot more small petrol and electric and hybrid vehicles than you'd think.
