after last weekend's mud action i now have a car that is heats up quickly as a result of all the mud stuck in the radiator

high pressure water...not strong enough to damage the fins though...that will do it...it worked on mine anyway

If removing the radiator isn't too much of a drama i would do that and clean it properly.
Spraying water through it the opposite way than it was obviously introduced into the fins is usually easier than trying to hose the stuff towards the engine.
