Hi guys,

Ive just been looking at a second hand bullbar thats for sale. It's listed as being suitable for a 1990 - 1994 Liberty. Does anyone know if it would fit an 1989 Liberty? Apparently it uses the existing tow points. And also, what would you expect to pay? Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Luke

I think so it'll fit on early liberty, but check for correct measurements before buying it. I'd say upto $150 max.

No it goes over the bumper. So theres no need to remove the front bumper. I think i prefer the look of the bumper replacement type though. Im a little undecided. They just seem rather difficult to track down.

Actually, if anyone knows of any bullbars for sale, please let me know. It's for my 89 Liberty wagon. I would prefer a replacement type but am open to other suggestions. Also, are there any other options that would fit, perhaps with some minor modifications?

Cheers

The early Subaxtreme bars were a direct copy of the Custom Alloy bars. Mick doesn't make them any more as he reckons there is no demand for them. If enough people wanted them he said he would run a batch off. They aren't cheap though at around $1000.

More like the $1100 mark...
I can get my hands on some Custom Alloy Ones very quickly if people want them....
