If it's anything like the MY series, it might have a sealed beam like my '84 4WD wagon. Just a thought, you can tell by the type of connetor on the back. I'll post a photo of my sealed beams so you can compare.
But generaly if the bulbs are repalceable, they can be removed. After removing the insulating cover, carefully remove the cable terminals(unless the male ends of the terminals are sealed within the glass, in this case the bulbs are sealed), then look for the tempered retaining clip for the bulb, remove and take to shop and replace.

ok cheers. i'll check it out. actualy is it worth converting to hid xenons? i hear a straight convertion with the kits are not the best asnswer, but to get projectors off cars that has xenon lights and customise the healight assembly. something to do with the lens and spreading the light evenly and without blinding on coming traffic. ( is it even legal)

Fit a double relay to the headlights and use some decent power and earth cabling then get a set of H4lights in the 5000k range of colour and you will have nice bright lights. If you can also source a pair of Jap spec lights they will be even better, they had a different cut to the lense and didnt have the globe cover like the OZ ones.

lukes6 on here has a H4 and a H6 I think.. So maybe they made different ones? Easiest way to find out is pull the globe and look at what it has written on it.
