Hi all,
Need some advice on aesthetics.
Currently have white 14" speedy wheels on a 2" lifted white L series. Pretty common look. Have come across a set of alloys as seen here...

They are the same size but want a few opinions as to what others think. I need new tyres soon anyway and after plenty of elbow grease to polish them they might look ok...

Ignore the dent, it looks worse than it is and would be the spare.

Yeh, 4 stud- 5 spoke mags look a bit weird but on the car I imagine they would look ok.

WOW, they are really rare. As the other guys said they should look OK. Where did you come across those?

They are cheviot 14" mags that came off a peugeot 505 wagon and sat in a family members shed for years. You say they are rare, out of interest how do you know? You familiar with this wheel rabbitoh?
They will need about 5mm drilled out just in from each stud hole on the reverse side to make room for the small raised sections on my hubs (RX brakes all round) but apart from that they just need tyres. Looks like a go-er I reckon.

All alloy wheels with the 4 X 140 stud pattern are rare these days , I saw the exact same wheel on an American Subaru website. I will post the address after I look it up, have to do a search first.

Found the site you must have been referring to:

A few more alloy wheel types.

I reckon they look great - go for it.

I searched for ever when i was running sunnies for an alternative - i finally went to Bridgestone to buy the 'modular' style wheel, only to find they had ceased production of the 4x140 pattern a few months before...they do suit the era - goodluck
