The car was front wheel drive, rear disc brakes were still there, as well as sway bar and the arms that they attach too, all looked in good condition. I don't have the skill to be able to remove any of this stuff ,however their contact number is 029676-5355 they have a website,

Was the dash surround still in good condition ? They as rare as rocking horse s**t ( not the crash pad, just the hard plastic dash /radio surround)

Rear disks from a FWD Vortex cant be used of a 4WD ( or AWD) "L" series

If it was an '88 or above , if it is a turbo, it should have a spyder manifold. FWD autos did ( I had a 1/2 cut which did)

I think that engine has just been sold - or has someone looking at it. I was speaking to someone with a couple of Vortex, that was looking for an engine and he was going there this afternoon.

Heaps of L series wagons and a couple of 83/84 DL wagons and sedans. A few libertys that's about it.

I think it was broken, I'm not 100% sure on that ,the dash was still there however. Year model was 1987 and it was manual.

Now missing rear discs (not hubs) , calipers , 3 ring drive shafts , gearbox switches , alternator , dizzy + coil , flap AFM , computer , engine control harness , throttlebody + TPS , water pump pulley , tensioner and bracket , exhaust header , down pipe and first muffler .

Turbo is very tight so needs a rebuild . Bonnet and boot lid are straight if a little dirty - air scoop missing as was turbo heat riser .

Also scrounged up a couple of L ser bonnet prop rubbers and the section of the loom with the diff lock solenoid plug . Just on this my 86 RX doesn't have it and I hope the wires are there after that first plug connection down under the oval rubber gromet thing .

Poor little RX groaned home with the front wheels nearly off the deck , I knew that selectable 4WD would be good for something ...
The cave is rapidly swapping Classic Nissan parts for Classic Subaru bits .

Cheers Discoru03 .

I wanted the hard to get bits for that reason .
Not too long ago I bought a reco front driveshaft on the buy outright understanding - they later wanted an exchange but haven't been back yet ...
The TB I wanted because I suspect my 3 plug style TPS is RS and want a spare . I suspect my TPS is ratty on the wide open contacts . AFM because they don't grow on trees and neither I think does the 3 plug turbo dizzy . Computer because I have no spare if mine goes pfffffft .
The engine header pipe because I want to modify one - the turbo side T junction is an abomination . Also the turbo Vortex pipe is supposed to be a little larger somewhere possibly at the turbo mount flange ? Downpipe because I'd like to use a later free flowing cat converter and don't want to pull mine off to do it . That Vortex also had one of those spring/bolt style "soft" exhaust joints which allow some engine movement without leaking . I grab the multi rib belt pulleys when I can find them , this time I got the tensioner one as well . The ribbed belts for accessory drives absorb a little less power than the deep groove V belt ones do and EA82's need all the help they can get .
The back discs because mine are getting a bit how ya going and DBA don't list them . I had to remove their calipers so ...

The gold will always sell later so I doubt I'll lose on it , cheers A .

Seen it stripped it of most useful parts.
