L Series MPG???

Post by Newbietosuby » Tue Aug 21, 2007 3:42 pm

Heya Fella's,

I just stumbled upon a fuel calculator site,

http://oee.nrcan.gc.ca/transportation/t ... -input.cfm

And I found out that my HQ gets flippin 15 Miles Per Gallon!!!! I never really realised it was so bad!!!! (Guess I should have with the amount of fuel I pump into the thing!)

My Question is......What sort of mileage do you L Series owners get out of a standard EA82?

Thoughts? Comments?

Well....They seem a heck of a lot better than my car. So that's just another argument to contiune to find an L to buy. It ther anything these cars aren't good for!?

under 10ltrs/100 on the open road - and about 11/100 around town due to a heavy right foot...

This is with a rebuilt EA82 MPFI, manual.

Not L, but.. My 2.2 Brumby gets anywhere from 7.8L per 100km - 18.5L per 100km.. depending on how I drive it and the surface I am on... (Rallycross and dirt drags really suck the juice.)
