Moving to Canberra

Our time in Darwin has almost come to a close. After 4 years we will be moving (back) to Canberra over the Xmas / New Year break. We drive out on Dec 15 in the Foz (with trailer attached) and should get there arond 29 Dec, before starting work around mid Jan.

We are looking forward to the move, as most of our families are close to Canberra (mainly Sydney) so the kids will get to see their Grandparents more than twice a year! (When you move so far away you realise how important having family around can be.)

I look forward to meeting some of the AUSubaru family down Canberra way (and Tumit, Mudrat) in the new year.

One thing I'm not looking forward to is not being able to wash the car as often as I'm used to up here. But I'll get used to it!

Darwin still doesn't know what water restictions are and coming from "down south" we really notice how much water is wasted, through complacency and sheer ignorance.

Cheers for now,

Then followed with a trip to Tas... Hell you could just live off all us for a while touring around Aus!
But good luck with the move to Canberra first ;)

Which suburb are you moving into?

You can still wash your car as long as it's on your lawn eh?

We've bought a house at Harrison, just north of Mitchell on the north side.
