What's it worth?

How much do you guys think an '89 Brumby with 120000 stock k's would be worth? Interior is preddy good and so is paint. Couple of little dings here and there like most cars of its age. All I've done to it is put a 2" exhaust on with a sports muffler.

Oh and I'm not deff not selling it for the record I'm just curious. :)

tried it, but it doesn't give a price for a car with as many K's as mine

Redbook's a load of ****, created by a car salesman so he could justify the prices they are willing to pay for your old car at their yards. Who here would be willing to sell me their car for the redbook price?

hehe, thats why you make it appropriate to the car your looking at buying, selling or price checking like what PLATs doing, adjust the price according to the ks for example. Redbooks prices aren't set in concrete, they're just to give you a general idea, so far hsd worked for me...

yes but an insurance company will use it or something similar to value your car

That's low k's for a Brumby, mine had 155k on it and I paid $3500 a bit over a year ago (out of Canberra). I think you'd get a bit more than that depending on how bad those dings are - I'd pick straight panels over mechanicals any day of the week...

There's a lot of Brumby's with 220k+ on them, anything less than 150 has got to be worth a premium...
