I don't know the etiquette here for plugging mechanics or other forums so rap my knuckles if this is improper...

Try Cromwood Auto Service in Burwood 9808 4820 - Ross Fraser. They were recommended to me from other Suby owners (and another fourm) and I have had no troubles at all with them. They're far cheaper than Subaru for servicing (and still use genuine parts if you want...) and they're happy to play with a bit of repair/fabrication work too.

Ross services my H6. Tell him Garry with the lifted Outback referred you, he'll know who I am..

Or you could try Lucas Automotive
92 Levanswell Rd Moorabbin 3189, (03) 9553 3995

They now sponsor another fourm (http://www.offroadsubarus.com) but I haven't dealt with them as they are too far from home for me. Tony, the founder of the fourm, is a good rap for them.

Cheers (hope this isn't stepping on any toes...)
Garry
