I've got two kill switches in my valiant. Ones on the ignition and the other is for the fuel pump, both hidden under the dash and been black switches they're almost impossible to see without practically crawling under the dash with a torch. Only trouble is leaving them off when you drop the car off for people to do work on your car..

Disconnect the ignition plug under the stering column. Take the negative off the battery, but leave it right next to it.

Fuel pump fuse is a great idea!

Also, if you are going to leave an auto in gear make sure its the inverse of the slope the car sits on or it may still roll.

There is a simple DIY setup an auto sparky mate told me to do, with the same effect:;)

Get an old Ignition coil, HT lead and a relay, and some wire and connectors.
Wire the relay contacts through its own coil (so that the relay will pull in, then drops out - chatters) to power the Ignition coil.
Plug in the HT lead into the coil and bear back the end so that the carbon end has a nice exposed length on it.
Run the HT lead between the back of the seat base (so that the lead is sat on)
Run the power off the ignition circuit, and a return to ground.
When the ignition is cranked, the coil will whack the bastard with 30,000V up the arse.
Fit a hidden override switch in there too, so you dont cop it.
Oh by all means go ahead with a mod to stop the car from running also.

My mate did this to an old car up a Mt Newman, one night he woke to the screams of someone trying to take his car - worked good hey!

Subanator that is the most awesome thing I've ever heard. I'm going to do that!

It'd fit the theme of an electric car, too! :P
