Workshop Manual: Outback MY07

I collected my (new to me) 3L Outback from the dealer today.

It already had front mudflaps, cargo tray dished mat, tow bar and transmission cooler.

So I bought a set of roof cross bars and the rear step panel from spare parts.

I also wanted a workshop manual. I was told they are not available in print but only on disc. I replied that on disc was OK and I would like one.

The reply was that they don't sell them or the hand held diagnostic computers as they would loose work.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Is there any way to buy the disc? From overseas if necessary?

I've been working on the family cars since the mid 1950's and have always had workshop manuals for my cars. Yes I am getting on in years.

Any help or assistance will be gratefully appreciated.

Rob

Get in touch with Frog on this forum. He's very helpfull and works in Subaru Spares. If you look hard you may find somthing on the net. Also another member is working on posting an emanual onto this forum but i think it may be a little early for your car.

Thank you to both of you.

looks as though I'll have to find someone overseas who will buy for me and post it on.

I know that in Europe under European law they must be available and at the same price as the dealers etc buy them for.
