Post by suby87 » Fri Mar 21, 2008 8:01 pm

Hey guys just thought I would put up some pics of my mums 85 L Series touring that guy side swipped by a b double the did a couple of flat spins. Its all his fault didn't check his mirrors. This car has been the faimly since I was 5-6 years so its like losing a sibling.

ouch! that sucks.
when you say losing a sibling, you mean you are not fixing it?

If we can buy it back off the insurance company because they are going to write off no doubt about it. We will fix it just worried about the price to fix the pillar. Otherwise I have all the parts already here.

Kris, your mum's bloody lucky! I seriously thought that there would be more damage there (like a sandwiched or T-boned or ran over L).

It does look fixable if you can find someone to weld in a new pillar (shouldn't be hard to do...)

Hope you have a safer one from now on.

Cheers
