Western Australian Frieghtlines & Toll - I deal with them all the time as well.
If its an large item on a pallet - Its possible that would be sent over via train but mostly by trucks to Adelaide/Port Adelaide or Port Augusta, if in that case make sure its fully wrapped up otherwise you'll end up dirty full of diesel scoot on it.

A mate of mine got the best rates from Piperside Logistics when he rang around for prices on shipping an entire car from Perth to Melbourne a while ago. Might be worth a shot.

Yeah thats with insurance for up to $1000. i just emailed them on the off chance that they might and i got a great price. I tried a couple of the wa companies and the cheapest i got was $1200 to tassie, with $400 of that was transport to melbourne.
