I am now the proud owner of a 1995 liberty fwd wagon. It has 160k km on the clock and with the one owner log book servicing it all the way, I paid $8000 on road from a dealer in toowoomba. Pretty happy with it. Now I know why everybody says to ej the ea's, really nice motor, just got to avoid those expensive flashes. One wierd thing is its got two head units but neither of them work. How do you remove the stock sterio, the only screws I can see in that area are behind the cup holder face, when its open, I suppose Ill start there.
On ebay now there is a nice looking header, these cut the mustard? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... =p3907.m29
I am going to ring up the dealership and see what oil they used to service it with and continue with it. Other than an upper cylinder clean what else should I do?

Nice buying, You need to remove the ash tray and there are 2 screws that are driven in vertically that need to be removed and the top 2 behind the cup holder. The radio is held in there on a cradle attached by 6 screws.

Shes white and stock as a rock. Sorry my digital camera is on the fritz. Just a few questions, is all the wiring it place for the electrics? I found a wreckers that had a few gen1 liberty's will the cruise control work on mine, a gen 2? I had quick look under my hood but could not find the connector where the crusie unit plugs into. Does this mean if I wanted cruise I would have to wire it myself? The throttle body has the pervision for the cruise cable but thats the only thing I can see. Also with the tweater in the doors, are they wired up like an aftermarket split system, with the control box, or does the sterio run them as the front speakers and the bigger speakers lower in the doors as the rears, the reason I ask is that the bigger speakers are a bit crackly and was wondering if I wanted to keep the splities in the doors would I need to get an after market set or could I just replace the lower(bigger) speaker. I was going to chuck in my clarion head unit and run some 6"x9"'s in the back and hoping to keep both the doors speakers in action. Btw what size is the stock speaker in the door?

Yeh this was another one of my questions. What is needed for the swap, Like It looks like the fuel tank gets in the way of prop shaft tunnel. What do you need from a donor car, like do you just need the rear hubs and diff off an awd car or the whole rear end? What years bolts up?
