Monster Hill Climb
Monster Hill Climb
We went up to Imbil State Forest for the weekend to find some new tracks.
Here is a video of some of the action.
The first part of the video is me after the third try hence the speed at the bottom
The second is the Super Brumby making it look easy - well with a Detroit locker between the rear wheels.
The third one is The green i'd Monster with a bit to much wheel spin (no traction).
And last one is me breaking yet another gearbox on a not so hard hill listen at 2:26 it sounds like a train.
Apart from that we had a great weekend and found some tracks we haven't been on yet

Hi PortyPorty wrote:Thats cool... I luv seeing subys on there natural terrain... were you bouncing of the redline when hitting that hill..?
No i was only:eek:on 5500 rpm i try not to get the wheels spinning to fast on hills like that, Because the center diff will revert the drive to the front wheels only, Then your stuffed so the less spin the better.
That is only the down side of awd boxes but i can live with that.
If it dose happen you only have to wait a couple of minutes and your ready to go again.
A center diff lock would be good
