Spotted in Mt Isa

Post by AndrewT » Wed Jun 25, 2008 10:26 pm

Hello QLD boys,
I've flown over here from Perth for a few days for work. Just coming back from having tea tonight and we pulled up next to this guy who was turning off at the intersection.
Libbo sedan, looks like about a 2" or 3" lift with maybe Forester rims...
Anybody you know?

Ah the intersection of Miles and Grace Streets.
I've never seen that thing in Isa before so it's either new or passing through.
But what are you driving?

I'm just here for work so not much time to get an overall impression of the place but it looks like I'll get an hour or so to explore and check it out before my flight leaves today. Seems similar to Karratha WA which I spent a week in late last year. The weather is not too hot which is good. The food at the Irish Bar and the Buffs was really good at both.
We were in either a Hilux or a Cruiser dual cab ute at the time (turbo diesels - bonnet scoop) - I can't remember which as we've been swapping between them daily.
I've also seen a couple of L series (stockers) and a couple of WRX's one with very nice mags and the other very noisy.

Just on the 1 minute drive in to the office I saw a charcoal Lib RS and an old red MY sedan :)
