All Japanese car show and shine

There is a all Japanese car show and shine tomorrow 5th Oct, at Pine Rivers Park, Gimpie Road, Strathpine.

Public entry is free, from $20.00 for entrants for 14 categories.

I am going to go about 9:30 and have a look, mite get some ideas for club events coming up.

If anyone wonts to go let me know. or i'll see you there.

I popped in for a quick look, good mix of old & new & some old with new running gear.

Spotted nice green fugly ute with a old battered subaru 4wd club on it in the show.A fugly wagon with qik one plates haha and a rx turbo for sale in the car park.Maybe we could do a club display next year.Plenty of people looking around there.

YEAH thats what I was thinking as well, we should get a club display there next year.

There was kind of a club gathering there, David Martin was there with his restored fugly brumby.

Beside him was 2 Subaru 360's one was a 2 door sedan witch I have seen befor but there was allso a very rare 360 2 door wagon, belived to be the only 1 in Australia. and even a rare find in Japan.

beside the 360's was a vortex that had WRX running gear in it, and still had standard brakes on it. bet he has a had time stoping.

seen some other club members walking around as well.

I believe the man with the 360s also has a wrx converted L series (or used to) and he did have a collection (5 or so) of vortexs. Thats if its the same bloke Im thinking of.
I believe his name is Trevor.

If it was a beige dl wagon with qik one plates, I'm pretty sure that's rob's from perfourmance motorsports. I think it's got an ea82t in it, but I could be wrong.

I was there in my Suzuki Cappuccino. Yeah the guys with the A360's comes from Mooloolah and has 6 or 7 vortexs from stock to 4 wheelers.

By the way used to have a Vortex and still have 2 84 4wd wagons done up a bit.

You're right youre mistaken its still got a ea71 in it for a little, while till it goes ej25T
