I have organised a trip on 23rd-30th October to Coopernook State Forest (near Taree) and Stockton Beach with the Subaru 4wd Club of Queensland.

Stay at Coopernook State Forest camp ground. Drive the area and visit Newbys Cave, Newbys Lookout, Vincents Lookout, Ellenorough Falls (one of the largest in the southern hemisphere) and Rawson Falls. Walk up Mt Olive (a volcanic plug), and Flat Rock Lookout, plus whatever else we see on the way.
It is touring trip so there will be no hard 4wding. We will be mainly on dirt roads (Forestry roads) - this part is rated easy.
We will stay at Coopernook for at least 3 days then on to Stockton Beach for theday driving the dunes – (we all know how much fun that will be) this part rated Medium.
Any park fees and charges will be posted later

You will need to take a week off work.
If anybody wants to tag along they are quite welcome Sydney members come up and say gday
We will be leaving Brisbane 6:00am Saturday 23rd October and will be getting to Coopernook Mid to late afternoon.
Post your interest here or phone me on 0404459610
