Yep, confirmed date is the 14th of October. I thought we had posted that up some where already. We do need numbers so we can organise catering, coolers and parking etc.

Meeting place will be my place again for coffee and a chat/meet up. We will head off around 9-ish.

It looks like the drive is going to take in Redcliffe, stop for a regroup and yack, maybe a quick bite to eat and then head off out through the hinterland towards woodford where we will be having lunch and then a play.

We are contemplating stopping at Scarborough at the Co-op so people can get a feed of fresh seafood if they want. We are still open to suggestions at the moment but I am thinking that this will be a good option for us all.

Should be a nice drive with some interesting/scenic roads with out being too windy or hilly.

If any one is talking to other members that are usually here but haven't been heard from for a while please pass on the dates.

Also if you are intending on participating in this event and can get hold of a UHF 2 way it would be a good thing. Subarus only on the cruise but others are permitted after the event.

I'm coming all the way from Darwin, but unfortunately not in a Subaru, and you wont let me join in the cruise? Can I tag along at the back and park well away? How about if I put a BYB sticker on the Galant? I mainly want to come along and meet all the people I talk to electronically on the forum and check out their Subaru's. Maybe if I meet at the lunch or if you do a car show? I'll be coming from Canungra on the day, so directions would help, also!

Please let me know details of the overall activity. pm or email: [email protected]
Willie.

We don't have set details for the day, you can't rush these things.
We will meet, eat, travel, play and drink. That is a sure thing, the other sure thing is the date.
OCTOBER 14 and or 15, this part you decide. There is room for you to set up camp if you want to make it a week-end, or if you want to make a day of it, we will end up at Woodford, about 1/2 from the Bribie Island turnoff. If you are travelling and want to come up on Friday, we can cater for a few tents to go up.
Breakfast will be provided on Saturday, and maybe depending on if we have leftovers on Sunday, please go to the other post to provide numbers of people. (not here) Lunch, dinner, drinks, (even water), bedding cooking items, spare car parts, and a attitude to have some fun will need to brung by yourself. We will give you some ground to play and sleep on.
I am planning on having coolers and stickers again, for those that want to keep the collection going.
So please make the time to come, socialise, and some bloody good fun. We haven't had one bad feedback from our BYB BBQ's, even the ones that break things still have a ball.
So see you there.
P.S. Willie, I am sure if you come to the meeting place, you can cruise with another person, than bring your car to the afternoon entertainment. But that is a definate no to putting the BYB sticker on a no Subaru.
