Yeah actually I went back that night, chained the front wheels forward and limped it back to Chapman. Didn't get lost either :oops:

My pics will be forthcoming, just got the GL back to my house here in Tumut via car trailer.

I guess that wheel's tire is scrubbed to useless too huh?

in true macgyver (byb?) fashion, we attempted to keep the radius rod somewhat 'together' whilst mudrat 'limped' his car.

muddy doesnt quite understand the concept of 'limp', as he started to drive even fiercer!! :lol: and then the other one broke :oops: :(

If it's any consolation the can of Red-Bull's still on there! It's just not holding the radius arm together anymore.

Mind you this was AFTER I'd rolled the front tire off the rim due to a slight misjudgement on my part. 8)
