In an attempt to get this back on track:
Proposed Location: Robertson
Proposed Date: October 22, 23, 29 or 30

I think thats as far as we got.

So....

What date suits everyone?

What do we want to do?

What sort of numbers are we expecting?

Anything else anyone cares to add?

Jordan.

22nd could be good for me actually. It's only 4 hours drive each way!

Finances pending, this will be tight as I am moving house and furnishing at the same time...

Let's have some details. :)

I need to double check but I think I've been rostered on for work on the 22nd :(

If this is the case, I'm free on the 23rd and the following weekend, I'm really sorry guys.

What do you want to do? postpone it a day, postpone it a week? postpone it further?

As far as accomodation we have room for a half dozen or so people inside the house and room for 2-3 tents in the backyard, theres also a few motels in town, the closest camping ground I could find is in Mittagong which is about 30mins away.

We also have a "6 person" dome tent if anyone needs to one

It might be a bit cold to put anyone in the smaller annex section as it doesn't completely seal up

Apologies again for screwing it up so close to the day, I'll let you know for sure as soon as I know.

following week-end might be ok....atm my fuel pump is dying, bought one off
cityefi on ebay weeks ago.....no reply from my emails about ETA or anything :x :x , so in current condition wouldn't make it up macquarie pass........

Maybe should come up with an agenda of what to do.....
Robertson is a very scenic area, mountains and stuff, you'd think there'd be
some challenging places to go...
unfortunately as far as I'v seen over the years any possibilities is locked up..including National parks. :x :x
I think Carington Falls (or maybe its the othr one) has dirt road leading into it but its for any car.

Sorry guys, I am working this saturday so we'll have to postpone it to next weekend, either day is good for me, what works for everyone else?

Also what do we want to do, I'll check at that dirt road in the next few days but I'm pretty sure it's just a normal flat road, don't know about anyone else but my vehicle isn't upto too severe offroad, it's basiacally stock in that department....for now

Ok I checked out the dirt road, it heads to Belmore falls through Morton national park, I drove a few km's down it and it's very very tame.

To give you an idea how tame on my way back out I caught up to a commonwhore ute and was passed by a mercedes benz going the other way.

The road appears to be well used, it's very compressed and not much loose stuff on the surface, although with low range and a bit of right foot it's easy to dig some up  ...ahem.

I didn't drive all the way to the falls but heres some pics and a bit of info from a tourism site:
http://www.robertson-nsw.com.au/WaterNP.htm

They're predicting rain for the next week so there might be some mud to play in.
Robertson Forecast

Getting close now (would be even closer if someone hadn't postponed it  ) could we get some numbers and some ideas of what to do.

Looks some there are some pretty nice places in that area. Would like to come, just a bit of a drive to get there(5 hrs each way). if a couple cars went from this area i'd think about, a little worried bout driving the L that far, hasn't been used much lately.

At this point we haven't decided on the 29th or 30th yet, it was going to be this saturday but I got rostered for work.

Feel free to designate a day that suits you best.
