went to Jollys this morning, only focused on EJ or Liberty looking for sensors and goodies... there is about 11 or 13 Liberty (cant remember top of my head!) and a few EJ16 & 18 Imprezas, but there is 2 or 3 good items that worth taking -

Gen1 wagon white - it has standard alloy bullbar - not heavy duty with narva spotlights on it. Also has roof ranks.

Couple of Gen 1 & Gen 2 Liberty wagons has dual range AWD approx $126 or $136 for the box.

Gen 2 1995 sedan only done 136,000kms, EJ22 engine is in very good nick (looks new to me because its very clean and no oil) but parts is starting to go missing but it would be a good engine block for conversion if you plan to but you'll need to find missing parts for it or replace worn EJ22, if I had $$ I would've gotten it by now. (sorry someone took the steering wheel.. me! its like new!)

Thats about all for now.
Cheers

Went to Jollys this morning... geez bad weather and didn't end up going to Kilsyth, they have a couple of L series, 8 liberty (3 gen 2 and the rest were gen 1)

Only one thing i can tell you, there is gen 2 Lib with D/R box sitting there, there is no engine at all so if you want AWD Dual Range box, its easy to get it out. but the catch is - it has high kms on the clock.

Kilsyth PAP 23/11

L wagons - 2 white, 2 silver, 2 red. Both the whites and one silver were in the normal spot (far right row), the others were two rows across for some reason. All carb, all pretty much stock. One of the whites was a sportswagon or similar.

Gen 1 Liberty sedan in the cars for sale section out the front. Light green, $1k. Didn't look it over but didn't appear to be a bargain.

Dean.
1989 Brumby - Shiny new red paint, stroked EJ20 phase 2 SOHC with Darton sleeves bored to EJ22, Wiseco high-compression pistons, Delta 2000 grind cams , EJ/XT6 5 stud with WRX 4/2 pots, 5-speed, 86 GTS seats and so much more.

Campbellfield PAP Thursday 18DEC08:

Three L's, two of them touring wagons, both silver, one auto and MPFI. The other L is a standard wagon, white.

Slim pickings...

22DEC08

PAP Kilsyth - Quite a few L's - I lost count cos they're spread out now, no longer in the northern line of cars. Of note there was a single range '85 4wd wagon 3.9 ratio.
- 2 or 3 liberty sedans.

Centre road wreckers - one MY sedan 2wd.
- 3 or 4 liberties
- One impreza
- a pile of L's and the same old vortex that'll most likely be there til it rusts out...
- the wagon that i'm sure is the same model as Carlie400's ute is still there and relatively un-molested so far.

And you should check out the WRX that someone made a piece of "art" out of... I guess they don't bend like paper... Its in the gravel car park near the workshop.

In other news it was very hot today and some melbournians really need to learn how to drive/use the right foot pedal...

Cheers

Centre Road...I'm looking for the higher-model gray window winders (chrome trim finish, not plastic like the base model and as fitted to Brumby's).

Dean, the trim finish is tan in that MY.

The MY model is becoming really difficult to find in the pick a parts that move cars in and out quickly - I ended up going to epsom auto recyclers last tuesday to get some parts, I was lucky they had them otherwise Sunnie wouldn't be running now with air con bits (still to get condensor and gas the system) and power steering :D Its very light and easy to drive now.

You should add electric windows, then you won't have to worry about the chrome winders ;)

Cheers

Update 24 Jan

Post by dfoyl » Sat Jan 24, 2009 12:22 pm

Pick Pay n Go: 24/1/09 updated 8/3/09 (no changes to cars).

1 white 1983 MY Touring Wagon - grey interior, high top console with all switches but drivers side electric winder has been replaced by tan early MY manual winder. Electric dash of course. Late MY, so no slanted centre console, plastic bumpers, etc. Standard rust spots. Appears to be complete apart from front struts and original front mudflaps have been replaced by some aftermarket versions. No A/C.

1 maroon L Touring Wagon - gray interior, standard.

1 white (I think) L sedan - can't recall anything special.

1 blue Gen 1 Liberty - engine gone.

Kilsyth PAP updated 6/3/09.

1 1981 white MY wagon - rusty as heck, brown interior (I grabbed the slanted console), has headlight surrounds but no grille, otherwise a stock unit all round.

2 L wagons - 1 white 1 red. Both base models.

2 L sedans - 1 white, 1 blue. Both base models.

All are in the 2nd from right now, nothing Subaru in the far right row anymore.
