Well we're in adelaide :D

I've forgotten to pack our little coleman stove, those ones you can pick up for $20 that come in a case, and the hot plate that I've got with it too. Dunno if we'll get another one or use the back up stove burner...

Ruby's well loaded so it should be interesting to see how she goes, I'm worried about the tyre choice but we'll find that out along the way.

Other than that we're looking sweet. Working on a 15% speed increase, I got 336km on the odometre which is really 386.4km to 38.55L which I think works out to be 10L/100.2km

This is what Ruby Scoo looks like, giving away the "surprise" toy for the trip:

And I'm sure you'll guess what I've been up to before leaving for this trip, still not finished but hopefully will get it done either today or sometime saturday before the wedding :D

Rhys, still out of credit, could you please bring your haynes manual for the liberty? I need to adjust my TPS by the book and not by memory! I've lent mine out and it hasn't come back yet :(

Cheers

Not sure when Bennie will get down there...

I've got the car loaded and will be leaving Melbourne tomorrow morning. If you want to convoy over, PM me your mobile and I will give you a ring when I leave...

Otherwise, we can meet in Robe as you are going into the town, there's an IGA Foodland supermarket on your right. I will swing past around 5pm so see if anyone else makes it to Robe tomorrow!

I will be monitoring UHF channel 16, just in case...

Cheers,
Pedro.

Kez and I will be arriving hopefully somewhere mid afternoon if not a little earlier.

Robe isn't a big place so if you can't find anyone have a poke around the main street, there's some interesting buildings to check out.

Send us a message when you're on the road and I'll work roughly when we'll both arrive in robe and make the appropriate arrangements.

Pedro's called channel 16 on the UHF so we'll go with that.

I noted on our way over the shit conditions of victorian roads then literally the line on the road at the border where SA have done some awesome work on the dukes highway which is great to drive on, it used to be a bit rough but nothing like the road headed out of Horsham in the direction of Adelaide.

I've almost finished my wiring, hoping to re-arrange the back of the car today and then we'll be set.

Oh and the price of fuel over here sky rockets! When we arrived it was something like 132.9cpl and I was  Awesome. The day after and as it is now, it went up to 153.9cpl!!! INSANE. So hopefully it'll come down tomorrow when I will really need to fill up.

See you all in robe! Text me if you need anything, I'll have to get some credit :(

Cheers

What not to do late afternoon without a snatch strap... Lucky we found a rope on the beach, now souvenired

Bar meal and beers (rum for me) made up for the effort put in to get Ruby Scoo out, she was isolated and in deep at some points!
