9th to 10th December?

I'm in Melbourne and my girlfriend and I would like to do some 4WDing while I ma down here. At the moment the only time we have free is 9th and 10th of December. I've spoken to Bennie about it and hopefully he is free to sort something out with us. I'm not sure where is good except where I've been before in Lerderderg and Cobaw. Not wanting to do any real water crossings or chunk rock stuff due to no lift and road tyres but just some good general offroading with a few optional challenges.

Anyone keen for this?

I'm keen. But:

I'm out for the 10th for G'ma's 80th...

Bugger.

Also where to 4wd depends on how far from melbourne you're willing to travel. I'd probably suggest the Lerderderg or Wombat for your best travel to 4wd ratio... But after having been out at Mt Cole near Ararat & Beaufort last weekend I'd say that's a great place to go too - good camp grounds to select from as well which is always a bonus.

I hope you get something sorted, I'm unfortunately out for this one - and it would be my first for ausubi forum organised 4wd trip that I've missed  Just putting it out there...

Cheers

Bennie

This might be a no go anyhow. As you probably all know this is a busy time of year. The girlfriend has some other plans for us now! I'll try and figure out maybe another time.

Due to a death in my girlfriends family I don't think we'll be getting out 4wding this December :(
