Don't think so. We've been on a trip with them before. they do a variety of easy going family orientated stuff to more hardcore trips. Anyone is welcomd on a trip, nonmembers pay 10 for insurance. couldn't tell you why more of us aren't members or more of them aren't on forums, we've probably all got a different reason. They've got some really knowledgable people and some unique very capable cars.

Is this the one you guys are referring too?

I know the track pictured on the main page (bottom right). Strickland spur, bastard of a track! And even more so now.

Was it the previous owner that had that kit on it? You could try contacting them and seeing if they've still got some of it - you never know you're luck!

it had a bullbar and pedders springs, dont know if they were lifted but it has standard on it now. i brought the car from a dealer so i had no idea who the previous was.
i have asked him if he still has any of it so hopefully he does!

I had a read of their online magazine, looks like its well run but a bit behind in appealing to the typical forum user, and internet savvy person.

and $100 isn't too bad for the sort of activities they run (recovery advice days etc). even so, when i ask myself do i need to join a club the answer is no.

a club is a good idea especialy if you dont have other friends that four wheel drive, alot safer going in a group then by yourself

True that. Plus it allows you to run with club rego if they're a vicroads approved club which means cheap rego if it's not your daily drive...

true, for 45-90 days of the year which is more than enough i suppose.

i wouldn't actually go out by myself in one car, but i'd go with a passenger and just take a tirfor/other recovery gear.
