I'm thinking it's time we have another cruise. The last one was in 2007.

Location/area: Mt Macedon. Meet point in Woodend exact location TBA, from there we can take the short cruise up the Mt and lunch with a bbq at Sanatorium Lake Picnic area - If it's a total fire ban day we can have lunch at the Mt Pub

From there if we have time I know of some tracks in the area for those that are of the 4wd'n nature. But I'm thinking there will be loads of talking, showing and catching up between old friends - and new friends will be made too

Time: 10am meet should be good - unless others want to make it earlier!

Let us know if you're interested. I guess this is a bit of a second prize for the Coffin Bay Trip.

Yes, the very one! There's a chance I can entice her to come along and take some photos, provided we can supply nice landscapes, which at Mt Macedon should be easy!

Anyone got BCoutback's phone number? I used to have it but lost it with my last phone I had a deal with him that I'd text him when ever there was an event planned to let him know.

He's probably going to be interstate mountain biking or something... Only one way to find out!

There may be a meet point change, I'll keep you updated once I've done a reckie. I think this will make for a better cruise with some gentle offroading included - that's the bit that I've got to check out. I'll probably do it the week before we do the cruise so keep your eye's peeled.

Thinking of starting at Bolinda, on the other side of the range near Riddles Creek/Monegeetta. But for the reckie we can meet in Hesket, we don't need to go all the way to Bolinda...
