Blue Rag Range track

If anybody has ever wanted to do Blue Rag Range track and couldn't in there Subaru now is the chance. Before it gets chewed up by the lge 4wd trying to go up there in 2wd
We were up there this week the track has been graded got to the top no problems

That was done as a fire break over summer,I read something on another large 4wd forum. They were complaining that it won't be hard enough to drive anymore. I like being able to get to these places either way, it's about the location for me,not the drive.

Awesome stuff! Looks like a walk in the park now!

It seems that DSE/ParksVic have been pretty busy with their roads in various areas. Our last trip into Bunyip we came across a number of tracks that were freshly bulldozed and re-surfaced with a form of blue steel rock.

Wish I was there!

Any idea when it normally reopens? I won't be able to get there before it closes, and it looks amazing from those photos!

Usually around Melbourne cup weekend for end if seasonal closures. There is full lists of closures & dates on the DSE website I think.
