ANZAC arvo 4wd sesh Macdeon Ranges

Post by El_Freddo » Tue Apr 22, 2014 8:48 pm

G'day all,

I've challenged a mate to bust his new to him defender 130 out offroad since he gives me enough crap about real 4wds. We're going to the Mt Macedon dawn service then breakfast at m&d's... Then I reckon at a out 1pm well meet up to head off. Dunno if old mate will rock up but thought a few other vehicles wouldn't hurt.

I'm open to suggestions but was thinking of heading to the cobaws as its super close to m&d's. downer is there's not a great deal out there IMO.

Wombat could be a go too, especially if someone out there knows exactly where the good stuff is that we can get there quickly and easily.

Let me know who's interested and where you'd prefer to go. I'm keen for the arvo out bush to celebrate and honour our fallen.

Regards

Bennie

Hey mate,
Think we might be up at the cross for the service too. I wouldn't mind heading out for a bit. Of course I'll have the usual limitations of a standard Brumby, not that it's ever been a problem before.
I'm pretty easy about where you wanna go, just let me know where to turn up.

Cheers Jake

I'll send you a text - there's a new bus service thingy to get to the Mt's service...

Cool for the 4wd sesh. More on it later (also on ORS ;))

Cheers

This is still on.

Old mate's out. Going to Cobaw.

Meet point at the intersection of croziers rd, forest rd, mc kinley tk and I thing ridge rd.

12 noon meet time.

Dawn service was pretty good except for the mentioning of the "sponsors" and acknowledgement of the effort of the Mt Macedon dawn service committee.

Cheers

You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.
