Hey Shultzie,

I'd be keen to meet up, i'm in benders (aka Bendigo). Sept is a busy time for me, currently i'm not looking at anything "extra carricular" until late November or early December.

I'd also like to get the temporary engine out as it's occasionally blowing smoke that matches the body colour and have my good engine in so it looks respectable... its quite embarrassing at the moment...

Keep in touch.

Yeah, I think we really should catch up. I am in Glen Waverley. I know there is another member just up the road from me, and a couple of guys park at Nunawading train station every morning.

Loooking at the member's list i found a someone in Riddles Creek, which is about 25 minutes from my pero's place near Lancefield... Not many people on the forum list their location, i was having a look at the members list the other day.

I'll be meeting Wraith next weekend... He's located in Wandong near Kilmore...

I don't think these VIC threads are looked at very often so we need to get the word out there...

That's my two bits for today...

might do a post in the main forum to aleart people to it,

Nov is out for me to much kite surfing to be done... and dec well that sums it up for every one...

ill work on it...

even if we just catch up for a BBQ and a bit of a cruise. Gellong might be a good meeting area as a middle point, and lots can be done there.. what other idea do we have....

I will take a gamble that there are non lifted cars in the group so off roading might not be the most fun... will come up with a few posts and see how we go...

You were right Schultzie, my car is currently un-lifted... It hasn't really stopped me yet, but then again, that's me... and benders is relatively soft off roading anyway...

I'm going to be bringing the pieces of my engine to bendigo to try and fast track the engine building... i hope to have it done in the next couple of weeks, depending on uni commitments...

The main forum thing is a good idea...

Cheers

I'd be up for a meet. The soob is pretty stock for the moment so it won't be going offroad any time soon.

At the moment mid nov is good (20 to 24 nov is taken) or december. In saying that i'm guessing we'll be going out on a weekend? I should be good for weekends in novemeber, depending on how getting a job goes and how flexible that job is.

I got a standard setup and don't mind some 'soft' off roading or mud... i 'washed' my car in a murky puddle the other week, almost got stuck doing it, it got a little deeper than our stick told us it would... but i had fun and my mate did too.

I look forward to meeting up!

Cheers

get together

Post by Bratgeebah » Fri Oct 06, 2006 9:47 pm

I'm in.
I think Aust. day (Jan) is a long weekend. Maybe a good time for us all to do the meet and greet. My 'busy' season is from now on till christmas, so new year would be great if it works for everyone else.

Gee

A bottle of spirits for the potient punch and some juice (you'll see how this works if you make the appearance), and unless i win tats lotto any time soon its BYO drinks...

But the new year would be good too ;)

It would be great to meet up I am simple give me a date time and place and me and the "badger" (what my mates have nicknamed my car) will be there. Up for anything cruise , soft or hard off road don't care. Getting sick of coping flack off TOYota drivers.
