Hey guys,
Just throwing it out there if anyone would be keen on a day trip to Kinglake in the next few months? I think everyone in Vic is running roadies and no lift kit so we'll aim for tracks to suit.
For those that don't know, Kinglake is about 65km northwest of Melbourne on the north-western slopes of the Great Dividing Range. Haven't been driving in there myself but i understand there are heaps of vehicle tracks and about 24 walking trails.

Yeah I agree.. its a good place for non-lifted cars.. and some areas requires lifted. There is countless tracks there, can get to Mount Disappointment from Kinglake... don't ask me how to get there..

This time of the year will be tricky (claying and muddy) & awesome fun - I used to go there a few times a few years ago and I know what its like there.. but I dont know what its like now because the conditions would've changed by now.

I guess we just need somebody to organise it. Earliest and most convenient time period for me would be the week starting 19th July (saturday) to the 27th July(the next sunday).

Does any one of these guys here knows Kinglake well? I've been there in road cars but not 4WD. Do you think it'll happen again one day?
Cheers
