what are you guys using in the way of cb radios UHF ? USB ? LSB ?

Yeah we use UHF... we tend to roam between channels 17 and 16... Im trying to get everythone to do a full change to 16 due to the fact some group uses 17 all the time in the northern suburbs.
There are few choices u have depending on the space u have in your car and what you want to spend. Some just buy hand held units that can cost as little as $30 from Super cheap. Range sucks and so does the quality of the unit.
If you want an in-car CB then your up for a bit of money and then u need to think of an antenna and mounting position. The costs depend on the size of the unit and the brand.
Uniden make some cheeper crappy units... where GME makes the better stuff. You would have to see exactly how much space your willing to use for one.
Best option is to drop into my work in Kewdale... we specialise in CB radios. Let em know your a mate of Dave's and you should get a discount.
