I have a 1990 L series Touring Wagon.

Setup as an offroader - but being a Subaru that also makes it as good-a on-road car as any other.
Garage Queen at the moment as it is part-way through the turbo EJ20 conversion.

Located in Carine NOR for the moment.

For offroad i have a beat-up 92 Lseries. With Kings Spring, LSD rear end 14 215's otherwise stock. But it gets most places with a bit of bashing

I have stuck to old skool Suby power with a '82 EA81 powered wagon with Weber, elec diz, GT40RT coil, 5 speed D/R box, 3" lift kit and 27" Nankang tyres, bullbar, spot lights.

This is my daily hack to work, cheap to own and run, doesnt owe me anything, been a lot of fun to drive, even though commitments dont see me off road as often lately - and will try and get out more this year. Has its limitations in regards to power, something I may see to later!

Can be found anywhere between Rockingham and Mandurah most days!

EDIT: Just bought a '89 Touring Wagon with EA82T. Got a bit to do to it before I take it on and off the road, has solved the power problem!

Just moved up to perth for uni living on campus at murdoch.
Silver 83 touring wagon 32/36 Weber, high comprssion ratio, Alpine sound system, custom buildouts, tinting, 13inch mags to suit escort stud pattern, ford laser front seats. Running like shit at moment cvs going again, brakes need work, power steering making noise and airleaks in the old rubber lines.

Just bought an ej22 with AWD box, matching diff and all wiring ECU etc. Going to start the conversion next long weekend with Dad and let him finish it while i study. Wont have a ride for a couple of months

Hey Singo! A mate of mine lives in Kingsley, you might have seen him driving around. Blue 1999 WRX with custom black "LUKE" number plates, very loud exhaust.

Dude....next time you see him make sure you bait him. He will ALWAYS take the bait and have a drag! I'd love to see him get flogged by an L series, this is the plan with mine hehe. Lets gang up on him!

Andrew.

You can spot my L series wagon between Guilderton where I live & Joondalup where I work.

It is the rough looking one with bits of primer & rust on it.

It costs more to run then my wifes Falcon, but it owes me nothing & I can maintain it myself.

I see a lot of Subas along the Wanneroo/Lancelin Road. Mine is the only red one, so give me a wave if you spot me.

Kev
