EOI: 1993 L Series with EJ18

Post by GOD » Wed Apr 22, 2009 5:15 pm

The time has come to sell one of my cars, and since the Falcon is more suited to most of my driving, it might have to be the Subie that goes.

It is a 1993 L Series Wagon with an EJ18 out of a 1996 Impreza and L dual range manual.

335,000km on the odo, about 200 on the new engine.

It has:
-power steering
-nice Liberty front seats
-custom rear bar with spare tyre carrier (orig bumper included too)
-electric mirrors
-rear cargo blind
-roof racks
-5 good 14" sunnies with 4 serviceable Super Trippers and fully sick shiny centre caps
-split fold rear seat
-remote immobiliser
-central locking kit installed but not reliable
-no serious rust (surface only)

Was off the road for all of last year for the engine swap and the following new parts:
-timing belt kit
-water pump
-fuel pump and rubber fuel lines
-one front driveshaft
-radiator and hoses
-rad thermo fan
-dampers, bushes and ball joints in the front end
-cv boots, rack boots
-heater core
-service stuff like plugs, fluids, filters, some seals

Doesn't have a stereo, but does have decent speakers and an amp, which I run off my phone.

It needs a rear main seal, and there is surface rust on the left C and D pillars. One front driveshaft is clicky at times, but a spare is included. Apart from that she should be fine.

Stacks of spares available like master cylinders, lights, interior bits, brake calipers, driveshafts, control arms, body panels.

*Pictured driving lights and UHF will not be included.

It's good around town and off road, but not fast or comfortable enough on the highway for me.

Anyone interested at around $2500?

Dane.

I'm leaving town for good, and I'm not sure I want to take this with me.

Since the start of this thread, it has gained
-G1S2 EJ22 with recond heads
-two-row copper/brass radiator
-185R14 LT tyres in place of the Super Trippers
-jerry can rack on the rear bar
-alloy roo bar
-custom 2.25" cat-back exhaust
-snorkel made up, but not yet fitted
-fuel surge tank included but not fitted
-90% of an air con setup included but not yet fitted (notice a bit of a theme?)
-power steering pump, hoses, and leaky rack (manual rack in the car now)

It has one niggling fault in the EJ wiring, which I have a theory on how to fix, but haven't had time yet. Runs fine though.

Make me an offer.
