The question everyone asked about this box is not so much about the bolt pattern but the position of the starter motor. Is it located directly on top of the box or over to the passenger side like all the later motors?

All the EA71's I have seen have the starter located up top.

passengers side like I tryed to tell every one , for all I know the ea81 would bolt up .some one need to give it a go .

im interested... do u know the ratio??? also what does this "vacuum rear out put lock" mean... is this a vacume switch for turning 4wd on and off??

Doesnt sound like a Dual - Range box?

this is a single range box , with a Vacuum rear tail shaft lock > you can run front wheel drive on the road & rear wheel drive on or off the road .Dave a quick look its a 3.7 ratio

No problems .The box is there is any one is in Need

The vacuum part is interesting , I had a llok at it today while having a farthers day beer .

after three beers I nealy pulled it apart !
