Cheap/free parts for crash damage repair

Post by TW83 » Sat Nov 11, 2006 11:35 pm

Had a post in the subaru chat section about a mates car that got smashed in a parking lot while working. Had a look at it tonight and it doesnt look as bad as he told me. The car was hit in the back right hand side.

we are after 1 rear door preferably whiteish.

some bracket that supports the rear control arm closest to the wheel (not sure what it is called but will post photos in the next few days)

left and right rear driveshafts and CV joints.

probably some other bent/broken mounts etc that I didnt spot, will get to them later

a panel beater to reconstuct the wheel arch and door surround.

He lives at 34 Hargrave Drive Thornlie
Phone number 0422535387

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Forgot to mention its an L series wagon

cheers guys

Actually now that i have thought about it, it would be better to put in an entire rear end (diff drive shafts swingarms etc) as it will save the pain of replacing everything individually or finding bent components in the future.
