Since Paul fixed my car (woo) I might be able to make it, if it's not too late to sign up. Hopefully I don't go into ferret-shock at the sight of so many subarus!

regarding car bays...worst case the extras can just park along the side of the road outside the destination. It's only about a 2 minute walk to where we are setting up anyways.

I'm sure a few subarus can handle parking on the grass... If not then there's a problem! haha

I need to get a CB... Along with a lift kit and other things... hehe.

I just read the first post, and I should let you know I'll be by myself, with my '99 Outback. The missus is too pregnant to go bouncing around in the car :P

Having said that, if I disappear suddenly, it's because I've gotten an Important phone call, and I don't have a CB to let people know I'm off. ;)

Also: Having just read the first post... Did you really drive down all those streets, logging your progress with a gps or something? Surely not, I whipped this up in five minutes on google earth :p

Sure. Where do you want to meet? I was going to go down the freeway most of the way, though not sure how I'm going to get to the freeway - straight along gnangara then whitfords, or go further south along alexander before going west again. Was going to make it up as I went along, mostly. hehe.

Well that was a fun afternoon ,,,,,,,,,,NOT!!!

Hitched up the trailer , loaded up the BBQ all the cans of cool-drink [5 cartons :) ] whole lot of other stuff for tomorrow and proceded to head allong the Tonkin Hwy at a good pace {100 Kph} got about 10 klm from home and noticed a bit of movement with the trailer, looked in the rearview mirror and noticed that the right hand wheel of the trailer seemed to be a bit further out from the gaurd than i thought was right ,,,,,,and then BANG!!!!!!!!! the f ing wheel came off the trailer ,,, I said a lot of expleetives and started to slow , pitty the wheel off the trailer didnt have the same idea and proced to pass me , changed lanes and then headed for the oncomming traffic , I then let out a few more expleatives and hoped to hell it would hit one of the bushes between the south bound lanes and the north bound lanes , well the Subi god must have thought that I had gone through enough and made it collide with one of the bushes and brought it to a halt about 100 meters up the Highway from where the trailer and the Subi came to a holt.

The cause was the wheel bearing disintergrating ,so the answer is that no the wheel dind't go back on :).trailer is slightly damaged as in the u bolts holding the leaf springs are pretty much ground away and the guard is pretty bent up , when we got back to perth I went and borrowed a car traler from a mate and winched the broken trailer onto it and took it back to my old mans place, it will stay ther till i get a chance to repair it :)
i rang my old man and he came down with his ute and we loaded the BBQ and some of the other stuff into that and the rest went into my wagon , we then drove out to my brothers and transfered all the gear into his trailer so all i have to do tomorrow is shoot out to his place form where we are going to end up and then bring it all back to where you all will be.
My Brother is also going to go down there at about 9am and set a few things up .
