I thought I saw a blue L-series on the side of the road at the bottom of the hills. But I didn't see it untill I was at the next set of traffic lights, so I wasn't 100% sure - I doubt I'd have been much help anyway.

Yeah mate that was me when I inadvertantly lost the group... That's why I didn't get to say goodbye to the crew (means i'll have to come back again ;)) I was reading a map to work out how to get over to the south freeway...

I missed out on the car stacking off the side of the highway that one of the crew apparently attended to call an ambulance, but I did get to watch a passenger of a car in front of me chuck their guts up out the rear window... fun fun...

Looks like the Liberty wagon is just as high in WA as it was in Qld.
Jay.....what the hell, my parting words to you were "look after her".
You drive ACROSS the country without even a stone chip, and then you put her in the path of an oncomming Lancer.

Now without trolling through the board finding post I did say something this year about not being able to attend and writing a draft about not wanting to offend people and why we were not attending this years meet.

SO where to start…
Work has been out of control with stuff and then to add to the crap I have had some high profile/media clients (read government minister level) and so I have been pulling some killer hours recently – hence the no recent board activity. As well as this (as you would have seen in other threads) in this in the last 3 weeks I have been at home for a total of about 7 days. This has also been work stuff, I was just attempting to get some Subaru sanity in on my down time, which for the record did not happen – just ask Benni or my RX project which is collecting dust.

Now I know that some of you may find this hard to believe but my wife and child like spending time with me and appear to miss me, so when I have been doing really long hours and/or trips interstate I really need to make it up to them. As a result there may need to be a bit of flexibility and sometimes something has to give – sorry this was 1 of those occasions where some things just had to ‘give’.

In addition to this as Benni highlighted yes our house did require some attention as we had a house inspection the next day and there were some jobs that I needed to attend to and given I had been away I had not had an opportunity to get to them… maybe if Shorty had offered her Subaru fairies or something similar I may have had the time to socialise.

From the little that I know (as there is about 8 pages of board stuff I have not read) It looked like a great day out, and I hope that you all enjoyed it.

Next year the plan is to hopefully be a little less work orientated and a little more life/family/Subaru/4WD camping orientated so I may see some of you a bit more then I did this year... we'll see as time will tell.

So no offence intended, but does this answer you questions Subafury?
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).
