Nice pics fellas!

Alex, sorry to hear about wanky, but you do know that the air intake for the L's is behind the bumper/bullbar on the right hand side of the car - the side you had in the water pretty much the whole time before it drowned?

Kinda glad I'm not over there - no lift and standard 13's wouldn't give me much of an advantage to keep up with you guys!

I hope to have a cobaw forest cruise up in the next month or so... Maybe some of you could gloat over my pics and wish you were there...

Cheers

ive got a pod on the righthand side. Not using the standard intake.

but yer, i didnt think the water would get that high up, let alone hit the intake! I only kept doing it because i had like 5 laps in the same place minutes earlier!

anyway, another motor gone, time to mone onto bigger and better things. This time with a modified intake up into the spare wheel area.

wanky will be a lean mean whistling/making funny noises killing machine! :D cant wait!

whats also ironic is that i was just talking about changing motors earlier in the day!(not that i intended to kill this one)

Yeah bugger, it must have just got enough up there to bugger things up. You sure its actually hydrolocked? Tried the removing of spark plugs and turning it over by hand first then using the starter (stupid question I know but could be stupid enough that no-one's thought about it yet). That amount of water flowing up over the engine under the bonnet may have triggered an electrical fault rather than a mechanical fault.

I'm sure you've discussed this over and over with the boys over there, if so, disregard the above especially if you're over it.

I guess you get a turbo now ;)

Yeah, I guess I'm a little late for 'advice' you already know...

Still, it'll make for a 4wd session you all won't forget about for a long time ;)
