I reckon a stock brumby with a l series 5 speed added would be a great thing as a work hack.

Mind you my work hack has a ej turbo conversion ;)...
So many optioins not enough time or money:confused:

Yes.. spotties would be nice. I measured the spot and I reckon a rectangle light with 150mm wide by 100mm high would fit nicely.. any idea what brands use those sizes? not any cheap K-mart ones either :D

hahaha.. nice :) but I like your idea of the 5 speed.. I do have a spare EA box or 2  Would be nice for those long runs down south to chase some Salmon

Reminds of when i looked at a Brumby years ago from a car yard - advertised as a 5spd. Not knowing a lot about them back then test drove it and couldn't change into 5th.

Challenged the salesman about it being a 4sp not 5spd as advertised - 'yeah it has mate, 4 forward gears AND 1 reverse'

Nice rig at a absolute steal

RSR Brat has same problem as PJ.. very hard to get reverse.. so up on the hoist she goes and cut and bolt up that selector fork ;) then off to the pits once I have a tailgate

oh.. no yes I do need to take it over the pits but still need to do some work.. which reminds me :)

I now have a borrowed tailgate (needed some work to make it pit passable) and tail light and Thanks to Guyph for the Bumperette :) Shouldn't be long before I'll take it over :)

Oh and by the way.. Dave (D3V1L) and Tristan (90Brumby) came over yesterday and now I have more work in front of me :???: Tristan spotted my wifes ex-daily driver, a 84 Leone that is a factory EA81 Turbo sedan and thought that I should use that engine in the RSR Brat.. Damn :D

yeah mate.. I'm thinking it will be nice with the EA81 Turbo in it.. damn you Tristan :p

I'm hoping to get it over the pits this week or next so I can take it to Preston :) You can pop over anytime you like buddy.. always playing with something :)

Kelmscott licence centre is great.. I've been taking cars over there for 10 years and they know me really well.. as they know my work they just now look at the car, road test and sign them off :) I always make sure I don't take rubbish over so I get any blemishes on my name
