i have a bit of an odd spotted post.

yesterday at uni we were viewing all the films our class had made and out of about 20 films- those that had scenes with cars in- every one had a subaru.

there was 03 impreza, red gen2 libertywgn, gc8 rex, blk forester close up- so you could see the reflection in the tailgate. my car was in one of our shots but it was edited out- too dark.
no other car made an entry. must be great photogenic cars :p

I should mention i saw a Subaru Alcyone SVX in North Perth at a Service center. I think it was white. That is one sweet looking car, very visionary 1990s. Why cant Subaru built cars that look like the Alcyone SVX and the Subaru Vortex again. Instead of this ugly shit. They would sell alot. Something like the new Civic Type-R, I would deffinatly put a deposit down for one. Well i kinda did like the front lights and grill of that Impreza Coupe concept. But thats it on the new model Subarus. Wheres the framless windows gone on the new Subarus??

Could of been, not sure entirely. Should mention i saw a Subaru Vortex a suburb away from there also last year. More towards Oxford Street.

Nearly was going to buy a white Subaru Vortex from Victoria was going to drive it back over the Nullarbor.

I was considering a Subaru XT6, those models of XTs never came to Australia. Had the 2.7 NA Flat 6 a extention from the 1.8 EA82 NA Flat 4 engine. The engine had an output of something like 111kW i think. Only came with a 4speed Auto with no manual variant. The reason why i didnt get one all together. You can get them Imported from those import places in Victoria Park.

I keep seeing a red brumby with a small scoop on the bonnet parked on drake st in osborne park everyday. Think the owner works in the panel shop across the road. This thing looks sweet as.

RX sedan past my place in Carine today towing a trailer load of mattresses. Sounded pretty gutsy, so I'm guessing it was AndrewT.

I saw a green '99ish Outback in Guilford today which had a two inch lift plus a nice looking roobar/bumper. Had a "NL" nationality sticker on the back. I don't remember any other stickers, but I'm sure there were others. No WA AUSubaru sticker! :P

Looked like a pretty good setup, for a newer subaru. Now I'm thinking it might be a good idea for my outback... as long as it wasn't too pricey.
Living in Canada now. Looking at all these SVXs for sale...
I'VE GOT AN OUTBACK AGAIN WOOT
