I pass one every day outside a garage next to the Rosemount (that gay Volvo service place) and I also know there is one at Whitemans park motor museumRetroLover wrote:This has got to be the car find of the year. There are only 2 of these cars in the entire country!

Yes it is a DMC DeLorean, its a 1981 model from what ive been told at the service center there. Found it in Osborne Park near Scab road.
This would be a fantastic car for a EG33 project, get rid of the shitty 2.9 OHV V6 which came with the DeLorean, this was a 3sp Auto model converted from LHS drive to RHS drive, would be better the 5sp manual model, my guess this car only goes around cruizing and that'll be it.
But whoever owns it, i really, really, really, really, really, really, like your car. Wouldnt mind getting one myself one day. Best looking car in the 20th century thats for sure, up there with the Vortex and the SVXs.

This one was from VIC (plates in the photos), cause what i was told was the guy drove over from the eastern states to meet up with another DeLorean owner here i WA. Probably the one youve seen El Freddo. The Reciptionest said she can pass over my phone No. if i wanted to talk to the owner about it. I should of, and i might do it now cause i would like to know hell the hell you get one of those cars into the country. I would like to buy a Restored or New Built DMC DeLorean sometime in the near future, after finished friggin around with the 1991 Liberty GX AWD Wagon. Be a perfect EG33 project, good looking car, with a better engine in it.
I see with the official home webpage "DMC" DeLorean Motor Company, that you can get one either restored from a pre fabricated model (1980,1981 or a 1982) or from 2008 you can get one built up from scratch, with decent add on options like Alpine Sound System, GPS etc. But the factory is in Texas so getting one imported probably would be an epic task, and now everything would be twice the price since the AUD has gone to shit.

I've spotted a mighty lifted Brumby with the plates 'Thor'..... a few times now over the last 4 weeks at a Jarrahdale mountain biking trail. Quite a beast indeed

Dane.
If anyone is interested there is a bunch of perfectly good Subaru stuff in the trailer which is going to get chucked at the dump tomorrow. Liberty dashboards, Liberty disc rotors & calipers, Liberty struts & springs, L series alternators, L series stater motors, L series clutches, Flywheels you name it. It's all going to the tip tomorrow morning anyways!
